The beauty of a lonely willow
As summer shadows pass
To equinox
Leaves, low and delicate,
Reach for gently lapping waters
That tease her secrets
Secrets she will never say –
Oh those days of shade
As now the summer fades –
The beauty of a lonely willow
Is you.

A lovely poem with a rich tapestry of description that puts you right in the spot. A definite oriental flavour that enhances the romanic natureof the poem. I loved this one.
