With Joy Sparkled Her Eyes
For a while she's paused
Out of awe her eyes clos'd
Journeying across miles
Cherishing lovely smiles.
Her mind lingered on...
Across venues she'd gone
Breathing the atmosphere
Colours, fragrances near.
Mesmerized around...
By the warm welcome found
She got in a sacred space
Enlightening her soul and face.
With joy sparkled her eyes
No tears, no cries
Just deep silence echoing
And a loving longing!
No tears...just loving longings... I love the flow of the poem and theme general diction.
There is a serene peace about the whole atmosphere and one feels refreshed reading this lovely little poem
