Your Voice Poem by Juan Olivarez

Your Voice

Rating: 3.1

I hear your voice,
Anytime,
Of the day or night.

I hear it on the breeze,
In the morning,
In the singing of the song birds.

I hear it,
In the rustling of leaves,
That fall gently, to the ground.

I hear your voice,
In my dreams, still,
It is my alarm clock.

I hear your voice,
Calling my name,
After all these years, I hear it.

I still,
Hear your voice.
I'll always love you, mom, always.

Our mothers voice is the first voice we hear and no lenth of time could ever let us forget it.It's like the voice of an angel we grew to love, and the voice we will remember for the rest of our lives. I'm so glad you hear your mothers voice calling you Juan. It's proof that the bond between you is still and will always be forever strong.

i still dream about my mom who dies of cancer 20 years ago -and write poems about her. When you love someone they never really go away... Claudia

I LIKE THE 'I HEAR IT IN THE RUSTLING OF THE LEAVES' I FIND IT CUTE. AND THE SCENES ARE CLEAR, AND THE THOUGHT THAT YOUR MOM IS NEVER FORGOTTEN ALL THESE YEARS IS HEARTWARMING--if i grow old, i wish my son will do the same.
