    This truly is a fun poem to read. It is easy to visualize by your clear description. It makes me want to go swinging. I think a blind person would feel the movement just by hearing the words you painted. Well done!

Domestic Goddess

Running the water i put in the plug
and add the 'antibacterial' soap (some of these dishes have been here since last week) .
I check the rest of my appartment one last time, just to see if I missed anything (only because I always do) .

Snapping on my rubber gloves I start organizing: cutlery, glasses, bowls, then plates, pots and lastly the cat's dish.
Scrubbing away all of the grime
and rinsing each piece with scalding hot water, I promise myself
that I won't let them get this piled up again.
This week I will do my dishes everyday.
