Hear yea women, thou art the spice of life,
Thine radiance pervades the world in rife.
Thy presence fills the world with light,
As you never falter to make efforts high.

What did men come to Bethlehem to see?
What news rocked Herod in his seat?
Who did the prophets declare with joy,
He who will be born, a king to the world?
...

Masked and smart we don our looks,
In kingly strides, we surge and boost.
On top the world although we seem,
Above the skies to all, we're deemed.
...

As a meek lamb, he took the scroll,
Bitter the thing which it foretold.
A man so good and heart so clean.
Death like a thief his future will bring.
...

Look on ahead the path is clear.
Tick tock, my friend the time passeth.
Sit not, look up the journey is far,
Worry not, stand up and begin the stride.
...

This dawn's a new day to celebrate,
Another big platter to lay our praise,
For the noble gender that births all life,
For this great set whose spark a light.
...

A deafening silence did loom over the land,
As the king of Kings in death did sleep,
The grand display on the cross was his,
Death of which never befits him a king,
...

Tiny and insignificant in this large expanding universe,
A little number in the unending roll call of numbers.
My life, so small compared to the scale of your existence,
A drop so inconsequential in the ocean of your greatness,
...

Step one, define your vision and your goal,
Visualize your success, and let it be your role.
Step two, believe in yourself, build self-esteem,
Acknowledge the wins and learn from the scene.
...

The day falls apart to reveal the night,
So beautifully coloured and very alive.
The air, sound and light spots adorn the sky,
An opportunity to rest, to forgive and smile.
...

You left my soul pieced, on the floor.
My heart you squeezed, broke, and tore.
Without a care what to me you did,
You stabbed me deep that I did bleed.
...

Wake up a new day is upon us,
There's so much beauty to see everywhere.
The sun is beaming out marking the dawn,
And birds are chipping the song of the morn.

Alone in the emerging stillness of the night.
I think of you and the love we once had.
The memories of our laughter and bodily embrace,
Linger in my heart and skin like a burning itch.
...

To you that facing those turmoils,
To you thinking all hope is lost,
To you striving to glimpse the light,
To you facing despair and lots of spite.
...

The curtains draw on the dimming past,
As times bygone, I leave behind,
New ideas and paths ahead for me to see,
As doors of the future open up to me.
...

A chorus of emptiness, a cacophony of hush,
A symphony of stillness making my world fall.
The harmony of nothingness brings me to tears,
The loud quietness echoes deep in my ears.
...

Dear God,
I'm waking up every day to my life in shambles,
Feeling lost and alone as I lose my might.
My heart is heavy, my soul in deep pain,
...

The battle horns have been blown,
A call to arms, a battle cast.
We march with purpose and hearts ablaze,
To make our voices heard, to turn the page.
...

As we citizens gaze upon tomorrow's dawn,
We must reflect on the days behind us,
And ponder what our nation's future holds,
As destiny, its tale tomorrow unfolds.
...

To this year that we toiled with all our might,
To the journeys and all our strides,
To the mistakes we made and didn't make,
To the problems we faced and overcame,

My Tribute To Women.

Hear yea women, thou art the spice of life,
Thine radiance pervades the world in rife.
Thy presence fills the world with light,
As you never falter to make efforts high.
Through triumph, heartbreak, with strength and grace.
You hold the world steady in your embrace.

My mother, thou art the lodestar of mine,
Through vicissitudes, your guiding light doth shine.
You have given so much for my life and sake,
Even when my actions should set anger ablaze.
Thou hath taught me to stand up tall and proud,
I shall continually cherish your boundless love.

My sisters, my ever-faithful partners in crime,
Together we've laughed, we've fought and cried.
You are my confidants and closest friends,
Even though sometimes we have some strife.
Together we've experienced life with all its parts.
Your presence and birth, truly a blessing of a kind.

My aunties, you are my second mothers,
You've shown boundless love kindness and love.
Your wisdom and guidance have kept me grounded,
You've opened doors and paved paths I needed.
For all the work in my life, I duly appreciate.
For your effort to keep me sane, I appreciate again.

My friends of the female sect, you're my tribe,
Together we navigate through life's imbibe.
Even to those I do not deem so close,
A glimpse of you brings joy to my soul.
You lift me when I fall after you've had your laugh.
I truly will cherish these bonds for life.

For the joy bringer and the hell raiser,
You've taught me lessons that help me gain.
For those who cause problems and bring pain,
You've made me stronger, more resilient and brave.
The trauma you've caused I will surely of, complain,
But still, for you, I'm grateful, even within.

Women of the world, you're true warriors,
Today we celebrate a great wonder of the world.
For all that you are and all that you do,
The world is a better place because of you,
You deserve to be celebrated every day.
You all are incredible and a blessing so great.
