Jodilee Duke Poems

someones banging on the door
sounds like something i've heard before
i sit here and wonder why they came
i wont go answer the door, what a shame
...

Purple, green and blue
come on threw
bring along
your friends too,
...

What ought to be is a happy me.
Yet l cannot seem to get that part out.
l wish l could,
therefore you would see,
...

You are so funny
that you are sticking to me like honey.
I am in love with you
wanting to tell you,
...

In
my bed
fully spread
wanting
...

6.

lonely
just plain lonely
pictures have left me
to be still
...

I wonder what it might be like
to be, wined and dined by you.
Would there be candles?
Would there be a soft smell
...

Blue berry pie is
oh, oh, oh-
so very fine.
Will come after the dine
...

What are typos?
For I do not know,
so please inform me of this.
Some think they know all
...

The chalk...may have, washed
away-
but, the memory...will
always stay.
...

I feel
so tangled
my innards
want to come up and out,
...

We talked earlier
you and me

I looked at you
...

Eat your eggs!

Yes, l say!
...

Where ever you are is where l want to be-
Where ever you go please take me-
What do l know, about where you are.
...

First, it starts off
somewhat normally,
gradually
turning into something
...

As I step outside the air,
I can hear the whisper of lovers.

Rolling within a hide away,
...

Missing you in the morning
Missing you in the afternoon
Missing you in the evening
Longing for your tender care
...

If you may, I'd like to know
Why it seems, as if I don't get this poem thing
I try all different styles
Yet, the same odd message rings
...

I sit here and wonder about each little bit
I think for a moment that this just isn't it
I do realize that you'll need a que to get the lit
...

They are leaving, and I am screaming.
They will be here soon, to tear me apart.
To be open and honest, l love them for that.
Helps us all to forget about the cognitive lack,

Me Not Caring :)

someones banging on the door
sounds like something i've heard before
i sit here and wonder why they came
i wont go answer the door, what a shame

it[s only the same thing coming back for more
so why should i answer the door
not like it[s going to bring me fame
all they[re going to do is convict me of being

insane

so i ask again
why should i answer the door?

Hi JD - I'm sorry I stopped commenting...lapse of sanity. :) Although I will not comment on each one I just wanted to tell you that I read all of them and continue to read the new; I appreciate your raw emotions and uncomplicated style. Very similar to my own. = Keep up the good work! You won't see any more from me...but I'm here somewhere in this labyrinth....Take Care.
