Ecclesiastes
A girl did live by the seashore
She liked to watch the waves
Perpetual and powerful
Like the men digging graves
She spent her days out in the sun
her eyes cast out beyond
Contemplating white and black
The ocean like a pond
In her mind was another world.
She saw things in the clouds
Her thoughts were mumbled yet still clear
She saw beyond all shrouds
Repetition is what she saw
No matter where she looked
Nothing new came before her eyes
In her depression cooked
Even the mighty could not flee
