Hidden Depths

Silence screams of the invisible person.
People see the surface,
the persona that we permit them to see.
A smile on the face for every pain I face,
Brave frontier.
Next time look deep into the eyes of the
person you’re talking too.
past the pretence;
find the hidden depths,
discover the pain.
Learn that life is like the stem of a rose.
Every person bleeds.
Every person feels pain,
once in ever persons life they welcome death.
We open our arms to the reaper.
Follow him into the unknown.
We do this oblivious to what lays before ...
