A Call
The phone rang once, I looked at it,
the heart thumped for I know it was you.
I waited the phone to dance again
seconds, minutes and hours had passed
the silence still reign on the phone.
Next day she gave you a miss call,
on a bright calm day I still waited.
Alas! I heard your sweet voice once more
I wandered through each word you said
and marked each scenery I have seen.
Your words wiped the shadowy island,
how happy I was to have your call.
For every word, for every laugh
to hear it from a friend like you
it makes my day so wonderful!
