Felt himself a child of Earth.
Lying where, for refuge
Tree-shaded, in succumbing
To an embracing need.
Soothing hand's stroking actions
Motherly blown indeed!
A child of the Universe;
As modest that; as meek.
As much at peace, accepted
Out from all harsh lights, adrift
Upon waters' starred reflections;
Sea's gently rocked uplift.
