A Most Unlikely Love
I never thought I'd fall in love with you,
But imperceptibly, my feelings grew
And love was there, almost before I knew.
We came from different cultures, you and I
And you were not the type to catch my eye
So how this happened, I still wonder why.
Was it that first embrace that you bestowed?
Or the attention that to me you showed?
Or was it that we walked a common road?
Our two souls intersected on that day
Since then, we cannot seem to stay away
But what the future holds, I cannot say.
