# A Soul - Part One Poem by Samanyan Lakshminarayanan

# A Soul - Part One

Rating: 5.0

As i flew through
the corridors into that room
the woman screaming there
my mother to become
trying to push out that tiny body
the baby...i would become
a life a soul whatever you call me

as i enter the body
a screaming entry i give
aghast..the tiny body feels
awaiting the known warmth
of its mother..would not listen
to its soul mate me to calm
who are you? ..you just came into me

when those motherly hands
picks up the baby and cuddles it
to her bosom and with a kiss..ah..that did it
ah..then i am told to the baby..who i am
'so you are me' says the baby
in that cuddle i start living the baby
forgetting myself

in the first part we can see the mother's joy, when she is giving her baby.it's very comforting knowing that others are in the same boat as her.
