A Thought Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

A Thought

Rating: 5.0

Yr language is as foreign--
Though, I understand clearly
When you decided to break my heart.
You said you had no choice
It was the lesser of two evils, no doubt.
I stand there at the mirror, waiting.
For a moment questioning am I real?
But none of that
My life crystallized with hestation,
And yr love is just as it is

Breakups are really tough. It always comes unexpected. But, i think sometimes such breakups open new ways for good. Very well penned.
