Sofia
.

Un regalo da lassù -
Amore puro, luce che sorride e splende
Ovunque tu vada

Vedo il mondo attraverso i tuoi occhi,
Senza alcun camuffamento:
Solo la verità sottesa da un arcobaleno

Tu dai senza retro-pensieri;
Un tuo abbraccio è un fiume di gioia che si riversa
su di me come acque di salvezza

Quando soffri
Cerco qualsiasi cosa possa portarti sollievo
E ora, sapendo che non posso sempre
Proteggerti dalle tenebre del mondo,
Dipingo per te, con le parole, un rifugio sicuro

Un luogo fatto di sole e di acqua marina,
Di spensieratezza e di gaiezza,
Di verdi colline ondulate sotto un cielo blu d'Africa,
Un giardino recintato, in un paradiso dove giocare
con i tuoi angeli
E sognare la libertà..

Sono tua Madre e ti ringrazio per avermi scelta.

A gift from above -
Pure love, just smiling and shining light
Where ever you go

I see the world through your eyes
No disguise
Just truth in a rainbow

You give without thought
An embrace is a river of joy that pours
over me like the waters of redemption

When you hurt
I search inside and out to bring you relief
And now, knowing that I can't always
Protect you from the world's darkness
I paint for you with words - your safe place

That place of sunshine and salty sea water
Of light-heartedness and laughter
Of rolling green hills under an African sky blue
A gated garden in paradise where you play
with your Angels
And dream of freedom...

I am your Mother and I thank you for choosing me.
