When I find friends like you
who is so far away
who never saw me,
who did not know
whether I am real or virtual,
I question myself
whether this is a reality
or part of dream.'
'Look at me from a distance
feel me as a music
Let me flow through your pen
and pain as moon beam
And remember me
as a part of your poetry
A part of your dream
and distant from reality.'
And remember me as a part of your poetry A part of your dream and distant from reality.'.....wonderful perception. This is a brilliant poem on poetic friend having an impressive inscription. Full vote.
The magnificent spirit and impact of virtual friendship established through ink that flows from the bottom of the heart is brilliantly articulated in this spectacular write in a very lucid manner..!
bharati, reading this i think once more of the universal outlook that ph fosters. on what is real, for me the outer, the visible, though i surely notice it still there, has become less important as i've gotten older, is more likely to be colored or viewed from the invisible things i sense. glen
- - - - - - universal outlook ph fosters- - -Thank you Poem Hunter for instilling that universal outlook and thank you Glen Kappy for your nice comment.I agree that invisible things that we feel have greater impact on our life.
You have captured the feeling of all sensitive poets on PH. Great write. (10)
Thank you Sri Madathil Rajendran Nair for your valuable comment as well as rating my poem .It is the attribute of sensitive people to pause, ponder and feel the feelings of other people.
ok, you are heretofore flowing through my pen as a moonbeam! i hope ballpoint is ok with you. and, FURTHERMORE, as far as i am now concerned, you are distant from reality. it's not a 'bad' way to look at some PH poets, but i'd rather think of YOU as a human. :) i'll now put this into Section B of my/our January 2017 showcase. it will follow your Merry Christmas poem in the same section. bri ;) p.s. let me know if it does not show up soon in Section B. ;) :)

I like the way you keep open the possibilities of both dream and reality. After all we know that everything we call real to US is just Vishnu's dream of US: our reality, his dream. I find that view of the Nature of Things very consoling, as Shakespeare said, WE ARE SUCH STUFF AS DREAMS ARE MADE OF, AND OUR LITTLE LIFE IS ROUNDED WITH A SLEEP.
Thank you for your valuable comment. As you said some one's dream may be some others reality. Our poems mostly represent a mixture of dream and reality.
