It was a day, futile
As it was without poetry
As so many moments of life
Went without record
The train of thought vanished.
Emptiness filled me
Downing my spirit
My wings got tired
It felt as if
A favourite photo
Got lost
Never to be retrieved.
The story was lost by some virus
But I am not without hope
Who knows,
It may flash again
In a new light.
Hi Bharati, When I have nothing to write, I just reading, M AY be Tagore, Neruda, Shakespeare, Shelley or Keats. On PoemHunter. Or I just go to my study and pick any book... maybe Wordsworth, Yeats, Vyloppilly, Chullikkad, Krishna Waaier, G Sankara Kurup or AASAN... And there is poetry all around me.. Wonderfully written..
A feeling of loss is painful. I too have the same experience. Searching the lost piece of poem I had spent days. It's life.
Virus is a part of our life. You never knew at that time that a bigger virus was round the corner to become a pandemic and to take a heavy toll of human lives. Thanks a lot.
Moments of life! ! Memories, Flashes of the past. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
ur poetry is beauty to read so was or is mine but PH makes errors a day joined like they were twins
Earlier, I read the title as printed by PH as Aday, and thought no, I don't know this language. Today I read it correctly and read the poem. Yes, the feelings are felt when when something that you wrote get lost. It often does to me when you've not saved it and the power goes off suddenly. Well writ.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
An inspirational account embedded in positive approach and hope.
