Abdurrahman Bin Auf Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Abdurrahman Bin Auf

he was one of the Blessed Ten
to whom Prophet Muhammad
promised honestly the paradise

he took part in
all major battles
and campaigns of Islam

Uhud in Medina
Al Khandaq (the Trench)
The Conquest of Mecca
Hunayn and Badr

signatory at Treaty of Hudaybiyah
a very successful businessman
who shared faithfully his wealth
he managed to free 31 slaves

he gave a caravan of 700 camels
loaded with food to charity
upon his death he made a charitable will
of 1,000 horses, and 50,000 dinars

This seems more like a biography rather than a poem. Its more telling and now showing.
