Albert Einstein 12 - When Love Blossoms
When in love,
There are rainbow colours,
Springing and splashing,
The wondrous hues of joy,
Within your tender heart,
Like the kiss of scented breeze!
The trees look brighter and greener,
The birds sing the sweetest melodies,
The heart strings play a merry tune,
And the soul dances with wonder of love,
Life seems so awesome,
So beautiful and precious!
This was the case with Albert and Mileva,
So besotted and enamoured with each other.
In the leisure hours of the evening,
They sat together with few friends
Played music to their heart's content.
Albert played with his deft fingers,
Classical melody on his favourite violin,
While Mileva accompanied him on piano or tambura.
When they completed their final exam in college,
Among the five students in their batch,
Albert came fourth, passed his exam without any distinction,
While Mileva came fifth, last, unfortunately, failed too.
Depressed that she did not get her Diploma in physics,
She went back to her parent's house in Hungary.
But the love birds - Albert and Mileva,
Continued to remain devoted to each other.
Through passionate love letters, pining, yearning,
And growing even more fonder, when they lived apart.
