In Feb 1902, Albert packed up and moved to
Bern -The capital dream city of Switzerland.
He was optimistic and determined to make
Things work and change for the better.
He had applied to the Swiss Patent Office
For a job and he was hopeful of getting it.
He also advertised to offer coaching
To students in physics and mathematics.
In June 1902, Albert was appointed
by the Swiss Patent office in Bern,
As a Technical Expert,
In Third Class category.
Though the salary was not high,
He had crossed the borders of financial desperation.
Though he could still not afford a luxury living,
He became comfortable with a steady income.
After a stormy courtship of over six years,
Finally, on 6th January 1903,
Albert and Mileva became husband and wife,
In a very simple marriage ceremony in Bern,
With no family members by their side.
They had only two guests for their wedding.
Albert's two close, scholarly friends,
Maurice Solovine and Conrad Habicht.
Most marriages start with pomp and grand celebration,
And is expected to continue with sparkling jubilation!
But unfortunately, all marriages are not like fairy tales,
To love and live happily ever after!
Did the lofty tree of love survive with fresh green leaves?
Or did they turn orange, brown, black and then, dry up?
To wither and fly away into the barren land of emptiness?
Only time will give an answer to these queries!

I also feel like the same, In marriage you bring in a grown up plant and try to install at your heart's garden and want it to remain as fresh and green as it was on the other side.
