All The White Flowers Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

All The White Flowers

Rating: 5.0

All the white flowers that you gave
Have turned brown
As the petals drop on the table
I cannot save them
Not even with the tears I weep
They continue to die like all beings on the earth
I know nothing last
But I wish they last like love
Even when they perish, you are reminded
Of their everlasting hold
The one that you remember when you
Made up after a fight
As their scent remains in yr memories
And their smile is what you envision at night
When the darkness is too much
Protecting you from it until dawn arrives
