Allow Me Poem by Meggie Gultiano

Allow Me

(a birthday poem for my daughter, Melanie Marie)

Allow me to listen to your heart and say
Here I am to watch and guide your step each day

When the skies of your life will be gloomy and cloudy
And your cross weighs more heavily
Allow me to embrace and give it all to me..

I will never let anybody make you cry
Maybe if i see your tears, i will be in pain and sigh

Enjoy life to the fullest, and be happy
Be blessed and be a blessing to everybody

and on your special day..allow me
to whisper to you and say.....

WE LOVE YOU....GOD BLESS YOU...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY...

Every mother yearns to 'kiss and make it better'. Your birthday poem shares this truth and is chockablock with respect too - which the title demonstrates rather delightfully. A dignified and tender-hearted poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

' Allow me' the language and tone of the narrator are moving '. Interesting how mothers share similar sentiments about their children a lovely poem that deserves a 10. When you have time, read my: A Mother's Collection of: Tissues, Bones, and Blood'- Birthday tributes to my four children.
