Alone In The Dark Poem by Ayman Parray

Alone In The Dark

Rating: 4.5

Alone in the dark, in darkness and doubt,
The mind is a maze, no good thought can sprout
Deep down below in the blackest of holes,
Your sins drag you to hell; the weight on your souls
No ray of light can reach you,
The air you breathe poisons you
The prince of darkness reigns supreme,
No one in the darkness can hear you scream
He reigns over your body, mind and soul,
His breath burns you whole
He lashes with the tail,
His punishment does not fail
You cry a billion tears,
For an eternity of years
But locked is your Fate,
Behind the Hell Gate
Is that what blasphemy is?
To turn back on the creator and his goal
God save me from this deadliest of sins
No one should be, Alone in the dark

Stay away from darkness..... Evil and danger lurk there! Move into light! If one cannot do it, seek heavenly providence! In this poem, I hear the wailing of a soul that wants to be redeemed! Great write, Ayman!

Skepticism strikes us when we are alone n hopeless. You have presented the feeling of doubt with great clarity. No one should be, Alone in the dark is a very meaningful line, with A in capital which is intentional on the poet's part. A work of mature mind n intellect.10

Doubt, lack of faith and despair are like demons which kill the spirit and plunge one to darkness.Faith in oneself, faith in God and His creations can lead us to light and hope. There is an earnest desire in your poem to seek the blessings of God.

Great write, Truly, man cannot live in darkness, he needs both physical light and spiritual light. Living in darkness away from SL means spoiling the purpose of God Let's all save ourselves from it Loved reading and commenting

Very well depicted Ayman, the truth is: darkness cannot comprehend the presence of light. And yes God is able to save. Good work. Stay blessed
