Apocalypse Poem by Ayman Parray

Apocalypse

Rating: 5.0

Satan's minions run and hide
The land swallowed up, oceans on fire,
The four horsemen of the apocalypse ride

Of love, hope, faith, justice there is a dearth
Conquest, War, Famine, Death ride forth,
Take vengeance upon the earth

Death comes for us all
Heavens fold, no light in the sky,
The stars fall

We are all already dead
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
Our corpses to worms be fed

We rise again from the stench and the stain
We pass through fire, darkness and shame,
In God's kingdom there is no suffering, there is no pain

In God's Kingdom there is no pain. Until then, while on earth, there is either no justice or a delayed justice. Good and virtuous people suffer the most as they are constantly tested by God. But to remain patient and tolerant and again rise with hope, in spite of suffering, is the grit and determination that man must possess but so arduous to attain. A deep analysis of man and his sufferings, so well portrayed through Apocalyse! Most beautifully thought and penned with lovely image! Perfect and Complete Vote!

I too see a dearth of love and justice on this planet, but upon scrutiny, I can see it among the ever present ills. Look for the bad and you will find it, however the same holds true for the good.
