Flowers, you charming damsels of the Earth
Popping up everywhere in rapturous mirth
Burning in flame, you dazzle the hills and the vales
Sometimes you bloom to die unnoticed in lonely isles
You are beauty and grace incarnate
You are fragrance and loveliness- aggregate
Half hidden in your fluttering emerald veil
You make yourself known by your aromatic smile
Attired in robes of radiant dye and hue
In dawn and dusk you are bathed in dew
Nodding in glee with the gentle touch of the winds
You remain the bees’ and butterflies’ bosom friends
You deck the garlands of the blushing bride
Also grace the wreaths of the expired
In beautiful parlours, you proudly reside
Over the freshly dug up graves, you sadly preside
Though fleeting is your life on the Earth
You accompany man from birth to death
You are there in moments of dazzling glow
Also when we sing the dirge of life’s parting woe
You fairy maidens, how you gladden our hearts
You can delight us more than all the arts
Like the stars in the firmament, on Earth you shine
Who else other than God, your beauteous form design?
Though fleeting is your life on the Earth You accompany man from birth to death You are there in moments of dazzling glow Also when we sing the dirge of life’s parting woe ......So nicely and truely speculated and presented. Marvellous expression of a flower, a best ode I like most. Thanks for sharing. .....10

O what a poem, Valsa. You have encompassed the entire canvass of flower In your poem's sweep.Enjoyed reading it.
Though fleeting is your life on the Earth You accompany man from birth to death. Flowers have their own story to tell and this story you have en-capsuled in this brilliant poem.
You fairy maidens, how you gladden our hearts You can delight us more than all the arts Like the stars in the firmament, on Earth you shine Who else other than God, your beauteous form design? Yes God is the best artist, it's He who created beauty and we are just exploiting it.

I am an avid flower grower. Collecting seeds and regenerating blooms every year. Few love flowers as I do, but your poem indicates a love on par with mine.
I love flowers and I like those who love flowers! I am sure you must be having a nice garden! Thank you Kelly!
