Anderson Dccxlvii Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Anderson Dccxlvii

Rating: 5.0

Give me that old Spanish love of Don Quixote
And I will thrust the windmills of doubt
To make love to you in a palazzo in Venice
Love is my true quest
I would ride a stallion of black
Rescuing you from a prison of boredom
As you ride behind me
I will protect you with my pen
For no weapon is strong enough
To withhold the evils of thesoul
My heart is pure
And the white dress I will adorn
Will not once be tarnished
