As The World Gets Older
As the world gets older,
We must be quite careful,
Forgetting not what God
Has done for His people.
He wipes out our errors,
Keeping our souls from sin;
We are crowned with mercy
And great love deep within.
How much more is achieved
By precious blood of Christ;
Our conscience is just cleansed,
To serve God free of lies.
The Church built by God's Son
Has gained from redemption;
It's the chance for mankind
To evade destruction.
Election has been done
Through God's last messenger;
Believers are so blessed
WIth grace from the Father.
We must have rectitude,
Along with our true faith;
We're taught in the temple
With words of God so great.
The truth is just enough
To keep our hope aglow;
Endure to fight Satan,
Today and tomorrow.
Keep this gift in our mind,
The past, don't remember;
Aim at what lies ahead,
As the world gets older.
