strangely the environs
wore a deserted look
though it's homeward-time
on a mildly chill road
a vehicle or two passed
by us on that early evening
as gentle and visible
darkness descended
we walked in silence
on either side of the ambling road
nothing really pressing upon us
we assured the other
of one's presence
as we once in a way
...looked at each other!

I wonder sometimes about the winter and how we express her presence. Each garden finds winter different, Some find her cold others believe her distant whilst for some gardens this is a time to die and wait to be reborn again in spring, -! 0 How extaoridinary your poetry is Indira Thank you.
