The Supreme shaped the
mainland, ocean, atmosphere.
Furnished them with essentials
for the living everywhere.
Man divided the landmass
to continents, countries and states.
Also the sky and ocean,
forcible imposed the limits.
Not satisfied,
split the mankind further
on basis of caste, colour,
language, power and religion.
The seeds of difference have
been sown and perpetuated
only by actions of man.
Science and technology
contribute substantially
for the wellbeing of man.
Attitude and activities of man
have invited miseries
for self -destruction.
Climate change, global warming,
intoxicated biosphere,
weapons of mass killing,
nuclear holocaust,
increasing hatred
are detrimental for life.
Incursions, expansionism,
militarism, terrorism,
extremism are on the rise.
Danger of apocalypse
for the whole creation
is hovering over our heads.
Only a genuine attitudinal change
may help delaying
our speed to reach
the frightening ends.
It is high time
to rethink about
the elimination
of devastating tools.
In the language of
Honourable Martin Luther king Jr.
'We must learn to live
together as brothers or
perish together as fools'.
A great and meaningful message to humanity. So wonderful thoughts to ponder about.
Insightful lines so very true. Brilliantly crafted.
' The seeds of difference have been sown and perpetuated only by actions of man.' A very discerning line from a great poem.
