The ardent cry of "Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa "
The powerful sound,
The magnetic vibration,
The magical mantra,
That echoes and re-echoes,
Throughout the palm fringed land of Kerala,
The sound whistling with the windy terrains,
The echo reverberating through the thick forests,
The music floating along the river beds and back waters,
The call of the devotees reaching a high pitch
The temple bells chimming in tune the with the melody,
The loud chant of "Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa".
The magnetic vibration with powerful sound comes within and we hear the sound with beauty of motivation. An interesting poem is beautifully penned. We hear the echos and re-echos and we feel grace of Lord Ayyappan. Thank you very much for sharing this master piece of poem.
So happy to know that you enjoyed reading this poem, Kumarmani ji.
People living in the Northern parts of the country are not much familiar with the stories of Lord Ayyappa and the traditions / rituals attached to His worship by the devotees. Thanks for telling us about what Lord Ayyappa means to the land and people of Kerala and not only as the presiding deity of Sabarimala temple.
Rajnish ji, thank you for your kind words and a review so enriching.
