Base Ball - Poem by andrew morr

Bam gose the ball
clack gose the bat
huff gose the batter to first not looking back
bam gose the ball
clack gose the bat
huff gose the batter straight to home
the coach says run
the umpire says hes done
but he trys hard
hes gone this far
straight for home
he runs
the ball soars
the crowd roars
he slides to home
the umpire lets out a groan
