I want to give you the world love
not just any world
I want to give you my world
because its mine, and I love you
I knew you could not take it

so I gave you the sun instead
rising in its beauty
aglow with reds, oranges and golden yellows
passion pushing purples and blues
touching, blending, melting into each other
until it's no longer clear
where one begins
and the other ends in the daily dance of love
