There was a gal that I once knew;
her name was Betty Jean,
and she was shore the purtiest
thing you have ever seen.
I loved that gal with all my heart,
and thought she loved me, too.
I never dreamed that little gal
would prove to be untrue.
I had to go serve Uncle Sam;
she wrote me that whole time,
but things that she forgot to tell
amounted to a crime.
When I got back, that gal was there,
and this is what she did:
she couldn't wait to introduce
her husband and her kid!
You really got me laughing with this one, great finish! Like riding the rough off a bronc, and then suddenly he decides to come unglued one last time... what a shock when you hit the dirt! ! !
Thanks, Pal. Really appreciate the comment of my best buddy!
The loved girl in the evolution of time now becomes the mother of child and wife of another guy!
Very funny and well-written, Ron! Congratulations on a job well done!
