You think for hours,
Still unable to write;
A mesmerizing poem,
A word of hope,
A verse of faith
And a sentence
To death
Of this endless pain;
Of this ordinary life.
Kamran!
Please break this pen of yours
And hold a stick instead;
Then find the way
To salvation
Of your blind soul.

I think all we writers have a poem like yours with a little bit of panic that a poem won't evolve again. Open a book, close your eyes and pick a word or choose one near it for a subject. Put in on paper and as the day goes on pop words on it, anything in your heart. You have amazing insights in your heart with your beautiful poetry to give you faith and hope.....Karin Anderson
Oh! no dont break ur pen though, cant say at which fortunate round about of life and time your inspirations would wriggle and open its eyes to a new thought, a new sentence, a beautiful new poem..........!
Oh! ! ! ! no Kamran, thy pen no break, what will I read then, true poets write not their thoughts with pen-- the ink that flows they release frrom within their heart. Another masterpiece from you dear A++++++ and 10 regards anjali

poetry like love emerges from most unexpected quarters. the more one waits the more allusive are the two! and when it happens, the stick u intend to hold becomes your pen!
No there is no use to break thy pen good use of vocabulary kamran! keep it up maryam
stick...you held one...and that became a good pen...an impressive write, Kamran...revolting against self...10

Dr.Kamran, Often the poem is in the heart and not in the pen...you say you are not a poet yet poetry is in the everyday words we use...You are poet...true. Dorothy A Poet Who Loves To Sing please come back to read my 'Mind And Pen'
