I love my wife, and she deserves having me,
…..though, on many topics, we do not agree.
She loves me, but at times just won't admit
…that we ARE, for each other, a "good fit".
Examples:
She has all the money; I help her to spend.
I wear holes in socks; socks she does mend.
She does cooking; the dishes I do then lick.
She washes clothes; I hang to dry real quick.
If ever I said, or implied, she's not perfect,
I must have been wrong.I mean incorrect.
I deserve HER, after, with 3 wives, I "failed".
After 12 years married, we have prevailed*!

*prevail:"be victorious"
Love this poem......! We don't doubt about your love for your wife..... why need an affirmation? As humans, no two person can agree on all points. There will be difference of opinion and disputes. But despite all minor scuffles, your relationship will prevail till the end, I am sure as you have learned valuable lessons from your previous marriages. A sure 10

The division of labour, the partnership...there is indeed love to be found when those relations reach a tranquil calm. A fantastic verse, Bri...

I like the wit here, as usual, which the poem is full of. And when I read it, I felt like saying 'Me Too', oh no, make it 'I too'. Only difference is: I never failed, before I 'passed' the test. You, dear Bri, will have to accept my good taste.
