Can I Be Poem by Manonton Dalan

Can I Be

Rating: 5.0

With a memory of a whale
Picking up groceries at will
Then patiently wait in line
Saw a pretty girl with her mom
'Mom, can I be a cashier? '
'For what reason my dear? '
'Buy groceries and get discount'
So innocent as it sounds
True meaning of life we live
Want to share and to save
How many of us today
Who feels this way?
Not so many on the sharing part
Just want to save a lot

A thoughtful and well penned piece... A naive thought made ironic with the beauty of your mindfulness....
