Can You Sleep Today After Seeing Me Begging? Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Can You Sleep Today After Seeing Me Begging?

Rating: 5.0

Do you see me now?

I have no food.
I am hungry and thirsty.

Do you see me starving?

if you have a conscience
would you sleep tonight
after seeing me on the street
crying and begging?

This poem on hunger and thirst related to child has an impact of sadness and thought of judgement. Dear Dr. tony, you have inscribed this poem incisively and heartrendingly. A great write.10

No one should be able to sleep knowing that millions of people are without home, food, water etc.Unfortunately all this ugliness has become so familliar that we don't think about it a lot.

A great sympathetic compassionate poem for the less fortunate hungry kids. Oh this touches me. If everyone gave in charity like God wants then there would have been no poor. Thumbs up.
