CELEBRATIONS!
Every year during those April blossom days,
I had always loved to celebrate, -
Many happy returns by blowing out candles
on a cake!
Getting older those days really felt great!
Now I remember that day which reduces every
year of my life,
As having gained in experience as I continue to
survive!
And also pray to God to open my third eye,
For an insight into many other things,
Lying beyond the world of our senses which
I have failed to see, -
To comprehend and feel them both subjectively
and spiritually!

lovely thought.. we celebrate those days forgetting the fact that it reduces our years.. well penned.
This poem reminds me those yestar years Birth Day, Celebration Day, Melodies in the ears Reached a peak, then.. yes there is a decent Any amount of spirituality can't fill that crescent. Yes its good we fall back on theology, still - Each year we feel the reducing effects of biology. Its up to us, sense the reduction Fill the vacuum, there is so much to plug in One needs a heart like you, dear poet, forever vigilant Celebrate and fill the air with its reverberate. That motivates one and all. Thank you for this celebration view point.
For an insight into many other things, Lying beyond the world of our senses which I have failed to see, - time to look back and for introspection of what we did and what was ought to have been done... beautiful write with clear concept and in depth thinking....10
You should always celebrate what you can see from your own personal window on the world. Beautiful thoughts enriched by your maturity. 10/10. Warmest regards, Sandra
as we age we gain in maturity and also learn to get in touch with the child in ourselves, we realise the futility of sensory experiences and probe into deeper questions of life. i feel this is the best time of life- my personal view. i now like to celebrate life each moment. lovely poem 10+ Mamta
A very well seasened poem, Raj. You have beautifully combined subjectivity and spirituality in this tale of your life. God has already opened your third eye. Your poetic wisdom is a blessing from God. Regards Naseer
