Clearer Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Clearer

Rating: 4.8

(dedicated to Fulgencio Bearis)

Don’t jump into the unknown
Without considering all options

You have some important decisions ahead
Save leaps of faith for another time

Your mind seems clearer
Soothes any hint of stress

(inspired by Kitaro’s Reincarnation)

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Ben Gieske 12 December 2008

As a person grows older, s/he tends to hesitate before leaping thinking of too many consequences and fears. That person wonders how s/he did all those things when much younger. Life is worth living and taking chances. Too many older people have simply given up.
