Clouds Poem by Bill Cantrell

Clouds

Rating: 4.8

Love is a cloud,
With outstretched wings,
A flower surrounded,
With thorns and weeds
Oh how the wind,
Has carried its hopes
Climbs through a window,
From a lowered rope
Life and death,
Flirt with a kiss
Soberness is daylight,
Drying the mist
In all of life's roads,
Winding they be,
I find myself chasing,
The cloud with the wings
