To wear black face
For sake of love
Love for the race
Not their disgrace
To wear brown face
For love of race
Shown with great pride
Sincerity
To wear my white face
With no such disgrace
For the face All Race
In all its beauty
not the color of their skin. So well written and so far from racial sin. Bravo, dear poet!
Sandra, a very well thought out, and heart felt, response which totally resonates with me. Sincerest thanks, my friend!
Souls have no race, color or face, only feelings and actions that are good or bad, were color does not matter. Wonderful poem, Rchard where you demonstrate in no uncertain terms that what matters is the person not the color
I am truly humbled and honoured by this most positive feedback, Anjandev.
Meaningful and thoughtful poem, dear Richard.......10
All faces are beautiful whether white, brown or black. Most importantly, the perception should be right.
