Come on kill me!
You have the dragger
And I have the soul
We both have our means
We both have our goals
You, the symbol of evil
Gather your courage
Strike with the might
When you see my soul
Ah, now you wonder
When I say my soul
You like to play with the body
You enjoy deceiving
You, rebel, the outcast
You hit below the belt
Yet you say I am the courageous.
Your silly invitations are your weapons
Your preach treasury
You show the ways to usury
Gather your weapons
Give a last try
Why keep waiting for the opportunity
You must come and strike now
Before my soul departs saying goodbye
Wonderful write. Body is vulnerable but soul is invincible. Death can only strike the body. Nothing can destroy the soul. A very thoughtful n philosophical write.10
You know! You know that the soul is untouchable by evil! That evil needs permission! Would that more people knew that so they would not stand trembling in fear...Wonderfully expressed.
Why all these hatred and the wars around us? ! Yes, we both have our goals on earth. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Thank you, Asim ji, for sharing a wonderful poem putting across a philosophical message: Come on kill me! / Strike with the might / When you see my soul / Give a last try / Before my soul departs saying goodbye
Nothing can kill a free spirited soul... Loved the open challenge... Now let's take death by it's horn which has been instilling fear in the living heart. Very nice poem.10
