Corona has quarantined me
Day and night, my soliloquy,
When shall I go out?
To the roundabout,
I keep on humming like a bee!

For an active person and a travel 'freak', confinement turns terrible after a certain time! But we have to surrender to the demand of the situation....! This being the need of the times, still we keep asking ourselves..... " when can I be free? " Quite an interesting limerick.
@Valsa George, You have rightly said: This being the need of the times, still we keep asking ourselves..... 'when can I be free? ' Sadly, that time is not anywhere near. Countries are having second and third waves of the pandemic attack. Europe is shutting down again. If there comes a regime change in the ensuing Elections, the US too will. Thanks for reading and the inspiring comment.
House arrest! ! ! ! Day and night, Muse of coronavirus! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Yes, it's a kind of house arrest. Thanks for the comment, @Edward Kofi Louis.
Everyone has been annoyed by being confined in homes, enjoyed this Limerick.
When things were just beginning to get better, the second wave is hitting afresh. That leaves a very dismal prospect.
Thank you @Lyn Paul, for the comment. What else can I do these days, sitting at home, other than writing poems, sometimes with a bit of humour!

A wonderful limerick. This poem resonates with me and to a a number of people. However, we must do our part, in our own little way to prevent the spread of this dreaded disease. Not until a vaccine is out in the market, this great destroyer is still prowling around and ready to strike anytime..anywhere. A very entertaining write.
Dear @Rose Marie Juan-austin, Thanks for the thoughtful comment, much inspired by your appreciative words.
