Corruption - Poem by Rose Marie Juan Austin

You are one of the social ills
In the annals of mankind
A leech that preys on the weak
The poor and the ignorant.

You destroy the very core
And foundation of society
A malaise that must have been eradicated
In its entirety.

Anyone that embraces you
Is a minion of darkness
An enemy that wrenches you
Into pieces.

People will join forces against you
And you will be vilified to the end
Your children
And your children's children.

You will be effaced
Completely
By the full force
Of the laws of men
And of God, the Almighty.

I have come across this profound poem today, it remains still gorgeous and impressing. An honest poem that contains the truth and nothing but the truth and is still powerfully loaded. Thank you once again for this most important problem in the world. My Blessings always, dear Mrs. Juan-Austin. (Report)Reply

A poem with powerful and justified perspective is being impressively portrayed. I cite......

    You destroy the very core
    And foundation of society
A malaise that must have been eradicated
    In its entirety.
I revised this poem for it's intensity.

It is very apparent that you feel strongly against corruption. I also have the same feelings.
Corruption simply destroys a society or a nation. I wish more and more people raise their voice against corruption.

Corruption has been embedded in our society. Some public servants are trying their best to eradicate it but still it has been deeply rooted in the system. I hope someday we will see the day that there is no single iota of evidence of corruption.
