Dangerous Heights. Poem by Sandra Feldman

Dangerous Heights.

Rating: 4.8

How do you fall
In love?
Sometimes, it's like
Going up a ladder
And falling down
And getting hurt,
A wound,
From which
You don't recover,
Hadn't, you heard?

A poignant poem of love that most of us could relate to.Liked the opening and closure lines. They remind us once again the void we always feel of falling down.

Yes, the wound will always have that scar that reminds us of the love lost, giving us sadness from time to time. Beautiful poem

COMMENT THREE: I'm still with wife # 4, and it's the longest, by far, marriage I've had so far. I DIDN'T SAY IT'S THE BEST. She thinks she's the boss, and I don't get ice cream! ! : (( bri
