The decision I took today
Took up half of the day
The decision I took yesterday
Was exactly the same in this way
I would be better and wiser
I would be simpler, patient and gay
Break off all the bonds that destroyed me
I would certainly not wallow in misery
But the day dragged on endlessly
I was no longer so sure of myself
I took all my plans and decisions
And put them away on a dusty shelf.
meely deciding to put off a decision is a decision taken. You can't escape
Break off all the bonds that destroyed me I would certainly not wallow in misery yes a correct decision indeed....think twice before deciding, and no second thoughts once the decision is taken Good concept and composition....
Remarkable poems... Have perfectly expressed those excitements which you have tested before the decision... And an ending was shining /// 10... Best wishes, Merry Christmas... Tsira
The remarkable Rani returns, great piece of poetry....making decisions......hmmm....I don't know this seems to have all the trade marks of a fantastically written piece..but somethings missing..hmmmm.oh yeah! ! .................*10*++ Great work as always Rani stacks of dishes Jon
decisions have to be made, even if on hindsight you feel they were wrong.sometimes i go mad just weighing the pros and cons. too much analysis really leads to paralysis, if only we will listen to our inner voice more carefully.
Certain decisions Which are not habitual Up and down, they throw us Swaying in confusion, moral. If gone with the swift Cause a regret If gone with the drift Cause a deficit. Good thing to be kept in dust A time will surely come To takeup and brush it. Good thought. Thank you.
'The decision i took today, took up half of the day' hahah SO TRUE....this is like every sunday when i say 'im going to wash my car, im going to go for a run, im going to do this and that', we spend all day contemplating decisions, that we cease to make....great poem, excellent 10/10
