DEDICATED TO THE CITIZENS OF
DELHI

No matter how many malls or flyovers we continue
to build or make,
This Souless City requires a Spiritual re-shake!
Here people are left on the road to die or bleed,
Be it during a cold winters morn, -
Or on a day of intense summer's heat!
Eve-teasing and chain snatching are pastimes of
our misguided youth,
Where is the time to meditate or delve at truth? !
Our growing self-centered attitude and blatant
indifference,
Resulted in flight of good thoughts and decent
civic sense.
Murder is common and mostly senior citizens are
preys,
Here seniors are scared to face their silvery days!
Wine is thicker than blood, and killers are well
paid,
Even relatives are not spared, and by greed waylaid!
Votes can be purchased, with bribery and
corruption,
Whoever spoke of any spiritual revival or salvation? !
Even Yogic Institutions make lakhs every day,
With commercialized yoga for the body, while the
spirit goes astray!
O dear citizens wake up before it gets too late,
Or some massive earthquake may seal our fate!
