Sitting in my porch lounger
I satiate my dilettantish hunger
with nocturnal devour
of succulent silence!
I dwell hours agape
in a blissful mope
gazing at the sleeping milieu,
wondering once more
at the infinite beauty He heaved
with His magical caduceus
on the Earth's canvas!
From night-long vigil
I hardly pick few speckles
of His boundless spectacle!
I stand in awe of
His grand oeuvres ever-growing charm
that remains a connoisseur's conundrum
till the daybreak
to restart my temporal tasks!
this has got substance when you look through his boundless spectacle you find a tangled puzzle..excellent poetic dictions.. a very fine work from you...10++ Rema
Looking through a few of your poems, I find inimitable lines and phrases never heard before. You strike a self-deprecatory note as to your DILLITANTISH HUNGER, admitting that such ponderings are hardly profound. Yet this is your time for a NOCTURNAL DEVOUR/ OF SUCCULENT SILENCE. I am envious of your ruminations. In your BLISSFUL MOPE you do indeed go deep, speaking of the MAGICAL CADUCEUS that renders the creation, truly a CONOISSEUR'S CONUNDRUM. From that conundrum you have teased out deep-running threads. The bi-helical snakes of the caduceus represent an amazing intuition about the stuff of life. The living world was generated by magical bi-helical threads running through it! I think dilettantish hunger is the best kind. The night's conundrums cannot be pondered by a specialized professional.
The glory of our night sky well pictured with your delightful words. Bob

This was a well done piece of prose. I thought it flowed well as prose normally doesn't. That is why I gave it my normal top grade. GW62
