Discovery - Poem by Shahzia Batool

I remember well
that enchanting moment
when Fate got kind to me
and gave me a chance
to discover You in me,
then, at once, I found You
in my isolation,
my thoughts and my dreams-
dreams that got rich...
since then, I remained
no longer isolated
in my isolation...

Solitude becomes bliss and we are not alone when we discover someone in ourselves, a romantic piece written straight from heart.

A celebratory poem. The poet had an epiphany. An awakening, obviously with a wonderful life-changing effect. And such personal, priceless moment is immortalize in this piece of gem. (Report)Reply

I deeply felt the words of this poem as you became filled with the presence
of another's spirit, or a spiritual awakening. Very nobly written.

''you'' is ''God'' or the love one? the protagonist must be your loved one as the poetess says '' fate got kind to me ''
it could not be the god as the God Himself is the creator of your fate, so the poem is very romantic.....whoever is the loved one she or he / sun or daughter, or any one..............................................
