Perhaps, i was a pink lotus flower offered to a God,
Perhaps, i was a red hibiscus flower offered to a Goddess,
Perhaps, i was a cute little bird singing away to glory,
Perhaps, i was a colourful butterfly sitting on every flower,
Perhaps, i was a cloud floating and dancing in the sky,
Perhaps, i was a merry wind breezing around in the hills!
Whatever i was in the previous births,
One thing, I am sure and certain,
My bonding with the nature and its environment
Is not a bond that has surfaced or emerged recently,
It is an ancient bond, centuries old,
A strong connection with the nature's environment!
My little soul is not my soul alone,
It is a small part of the Nature's magnanimous Soul!
Deities are find of flowers. You have taken many names of necessary and beautiful flowers through this amazing chanting. With the breeze of wind colourful flowers bloom and butterflies fly over these. In this excellent poem you have expressed your deep binding with the nature. Birds too love beautiful flowers....10
a strong connection with nature...leading to unity of creation is an interesting message finely underpinned
flora and fauna are integral to nature. Likewise, every thing other than our personal belongings which directly or indirectly sustains our life on this planet is part of our environment. The idea of your carrying this fascination for or the bond with nature from one birth to the other is unique and overwhelming. Thanks, Geeta ji.

A wonderful and unique thought brilliantly versified by a great Poetess whose heart has a deep connection /bond with Mother Nature. Loved the two closure lines.
