Epiphany Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Epiphany

Rating: 5.0

With the feeling of no inspiration
I sat down at my desk
And stared at the computer
Wondering should I waste electricity being idle?
Or should I take a walk with my dog?
I chose the latter but came home early
Because of rain
I watched it fall like tears of a g-d
Wondering if I will ever write again
I fixed my fifth coffee
And had an epiphany

Sometimes inspiration comes when we least expect it. The company of a faithful dog always helps.
